Galatians 2:20-21

I decided to begin this blog with my very favorite scripture. I found this one probably like six months ago and I refer back to it quite often for inspirtation and comfort. The scripture says:

20 I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.
21 I do not frustrate the grace of God: for if righteousness come by the law, then Christ is dead in vain.

There are a few points in this scripture that really hit me. The first being the statement that Christ lives in us. What an AMAZING thought! Our Savior lives inside each of us, and we therefore have the potential to become more like him if we seek it. The second point is that we should now be living by our faith. We are lucky enough to be blessed with bodies and lives here on the Earth. We need should always be striving to live that life in remembrance of our Savior and how much He did for us. Our lives are the way the are because of everything He did. He gave his life for us and we should remember the incredible amount of love He showed for us in this action. Third is that we should not frustrate the grace of God. I take this to mean that I won't strive to change God's will for me. I will live by the standards and help He gives me and will not rebel. God loves us and living by His principles can bring us such great happines. I just love this scripture! Mostly the first part. We can do anything that is the will of God because we have the power and strength of Christ within each one of us. We can reach our divine potential because of this gift.
